cooking on crack, it’s seriously the best idea anyone ever had. also, this video reveals coolio’s affinity for ‘surfin’ bird’ (which, according to wikipedia, is back on the british singles chart as of april 21, 2009).
this actually has nothing to do with the point i was going to make. something you might not know about me - i watch a LOT of the food network. i don’t watch that much tv but if i am in front of one, chances are i’m watching the simpsons or the food network. today i was watching guy’s big bite, which features a jersey shore guido looking guy named guy making americanized international food in a kitchen that has a fridge with a racing stripe (it’s really cool looking) and a bumper pool table. my problem with it is, though, that the host doesn’t speak proper english. he says things like ‘a little more pine nuts’ and ‘a bit more raisins’. i guess it doesn’t seem like a big deal, and i’m sure that there are lots of other people on tv who can’t speak correctly either, but i don’t really pay attention to them, i pay attention to the food network. i don’t really have a closer or a point to this rant, i just can’t stand people who don’t know how to not sound like a complete jackass. i also don’t like pine nuts.
i also have a serious problem with improper spelling in public places/publications but i won’t bore you with the details
